Massive Chinese Porcelain Famille Noire Sancai Foo Dogs Black Charger Modern 20c
About the Item
A massive Chinese famille noire porcelain charger, finely hand decorated in sancai with a center medallion and a band of foo-dogs in vines and foliage, very well executed to emulate early Qing Kangxi imperial works. This impressive charger measures 16.75" in diameter, and has six character apocryphal underglaze blue Kangxi mark on white ground, within the footring.
