About the Item

A pair of fine antique Chinese porcelain vases In the Rose Medallion style. With 4 gilt handles around the neck in the form of foo dogs and lizards. The mouth/rim of the vase is fully gilt with painted floral decoration around its circumference. Simply a wonderful Chinese Export Rose Medallion porcelain vase! Date: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: One vase has an irregular foot (from in the making), the second vase has an old professional repair to the rim (possibly repairing a small flake on the underside), noticeable rubbing to the gold both to the handles and decoration throughout, and some light wear to the enamel decoration. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Pattern: Rose Mandarin Marks: Unmarked Measurements: Height: ca. 9 in.
