About the Item

Satsuma Moonflask vase decorated with polychrome nature motifs within two circular, convex reserves, depicting roosters, ducks, and various birds. On the other side, a pair of pheasants is depicted under a cherry blossom tree. The lugs are karashishi-shaped and finished in gold. Signed Koshida and Zuizan Work published in the volume "Selection 2024. Height: 18 x 24.5 x 8.5 cm Meiji, c. 1900.
