Japanese Antique Armchair Sofa 1920s-1930s Primitive Japandi

About the Item

This is an old Japanese armchair. The frame is made of oak. It was made from the Taisho era to the early Showa era. In Japan, it was not a culture to sit on chairs, so there are not many chairs from this era. The frame has turned dark brown over time, and the navy velvet fabric gives it an elegant impression. The seat has been reupholstered, the cushion material replaced, and reassembled. The seat has been reupholstered with navy velvet fabric. The backrest is also padded, making it very comfortable to sit on. We will always suggest the best shipping method. Please contact us first. We also introduce many other Japanese antique furniture and objects collected from all over Japan. Please take a look if you like.
