Antique Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Fan Scenic Night And Day Plate
About the Item
A highly decorative antique Japanese Meiji Era enamel plate. The central part of the plate is enameled with a polychrome design with images of two fans adorned with traditional landscapes. Surrounded by a border with skillfully detailed floral motifs on a deep cobalt blue ground. The backside is covered with turquoise enamel and decorated with a swirl ornament made in the Cloisonne technique.
