About the Item

This Japanese pitcher is notable for its naturalistic style. The bronze work is of very fine craftsmanship, featuring an attractive patina and delicate chiseling. A frog in the round with beautiful gilding can be seen. The pitcher is in good condition overall, with slight signs and marks of use, some wear, and verdigris on the decorations near the base.
