Gesshin's casting business has been passed down through generations.
The copperware produced in Takaoka is renowned even in Japan.
Gesshin's works, created using wax molds, are characterized by their exquisite detail and fine finish.
This piece is particularly impressive, as it can be divided into three sections.
The flowerpot-like piece inside is interesting enough to remove and use as a separate vase.
This Usubata is a vase used to decorate a tokonoma alcove.
There is a sign on the base. It comes with its original box.
