About the Item

This lovely silver box exemplifies Japanese refinement in all crafts. Precious in the hand, the petite bonbonnière is formed of high quality silver in the shape of a paper folding fan, a symbol of life and the passage of time. Traditionally, the fan is an ideal gift for New Year's, marriage, or one's coming of age. The underside of the delicate box is stamped with a makers mark and a mark indicating "Pure Silver."
