TA04027 Set of Three Antique Thai Bronze Lime Boxes. Tall Cylinders of varying shapes and sizes:
A) Thai Bronze Lime Container in the shape of a Stupa, unadorned bulbous body, gradually tapering top, terminating in a series of three steps with a lotus bud like finial. Interior contains white lime residue, minor signs of wear, overall fine condition. 5-1/2 in. high. 13 oz.
B) Thai Bronze Lime container, used for the chewing of Betel, well formed urn shape with incised designs of overlapping squares within squares, top of lid has small loop, corresponding side loop missing, interior with white lime accumulation. Minor losses, signs of wear, overall fine condition. 5-1/4 in. high. 9 oz.
C) Thai Bronze Lime Container, lid with small loop, with corresponding loop for chain attachment, body and lid decorated with simple incised bands, interior with traces of white lime. Minor signs of wear, nick to lid edge, overall fine condition. 3-3/8 in. high. 2.5 oz.
