About the Item

A Very Fine Quality Chinese Export Hand Carved Religous Pagoda of traditional architectural form and generous proportions, late Nineteenth Century. The overall structure beautifully carved depicting Chinese figures, scrolling detail and various flower heads. The upper twin doors opening to reveal a seated Budda, entire ending on a square platform base. Condition: Good overall condition for such an early piece with nice surface patination, lacking one catch at upper central doors, a small piece is missing on the roof and one bar at back area is also missing.
