Sharing this lovely and unusual Chinese porcelain incense burner from the late Ming period, Tianqi period most probably. Jingdezhen made for the Japanese market. This is a very rare incense burner of unusual shape and with a nice butterfly scene. Nice custom made lid is added to the piece. With a beautiful storage box included.⁠ Additional information: Material: Porcelain & Pottery Region of Origin: China⁠ Age: Early 17th century⁠ Emperor: Chongzhen (1627-1644), Tianqi (1620-1627) Period: 17th century China Dynasty Period: Ming & Transitional (1368 Condition: Usual fritting to rims, 1 filled chip with line to base and 1 line from upper rim.
