⁠It's 17th century chinese porcelain, Ming period, made for the Japanese market. This unusual Kosumetsuke Koro would have been used for incense that is added to the charcoal fire during the charcoal laying procedure.⁠ Additional information: Material: Porcelain & Pottery Region of Origin: China Emperor: Chongzhen (1627-1644), Tianqi (1620-1627) Period: 16th century, 17th century Ming & Transitional (1368 - 1664) Color: Blue & White Condition: fritting/mushikui, 1 line from rim, running from kintsugi filled chip and 1 more kintsugi repair on rim. Dimension: Ø 9.3 x 7.5 H cm
