Celestial Chinese export coromandel four-panel screen depicting figures in colorful robes in a heavenly landscape among the white clouds. Each scene is bordered on top and bottom with scholars objects in windows having oxblood red trim. The reverse side features a gilt landscape over a black ground with flora and fauna. The panels attach with brass metal hinges or can be displayed separate. Beautifully crafted with a desirable aged patina on the lacquer finish and craquelure webbing.
