Muromachi period inspired Japanese four panel byobu screen depicting wild geese in flight over reeds. The 19th century Meiji period painting bears an artist's signature Chisokuken. Crafted from ink on hand-made mulberry paper and set in a black lacquered frame with a silk brocade border. The screen has an aged, faded patina with old repairs and stains visible along the bottom. From an estate in Malibu, CA.
