Excellent Rimpa School painting with very finely rendered bird, raised gold fencing, with beautiful application of gold clouds in the foreground. Mineral pigments and excellently patinated heavy gold on mulberry paper with silk brocade border. Japan, 18th century, 67" h. x 148" l.
