A pair of six-panel folding screens from the Kano school, painted in ink and pigments on paper.
The naturalistic composition is dominated by two lush green pine trees extending from left to right against a gold-leaf background. Perched on the gnarled trunks are a pair of pheasants and three doves, enhancing the sense of seasonal harmony and poetic stillness.
