Vintage South Asian gouache peshwa painting on prepared fine cotton with gilt highlights - traditional style - fine detail painting to the figures - the canvas set against a padded backing - contained in a faux bamboo gilt frame - Columbian gallery label verso - India - mid 20th century. Good vintage condition - thread/pigment loss to the canvas (as photographed - not affecting the integrity of the painting) - minor scuffs to the frame that come with age and use - ready to hang. Size - 15 5/8" Wide x 19 5/8" High x 1" Deep.
