About the Item

Print size: 360 x 235 mm Sheet size: 400 x 260 mm Frame size: 530 x 390 mm 1650 g Packing estimate size: 630 x 440 x 60 mm 3 kg This woodblock print is by Kasamatsu Shiro, one of the famous modern woodblock print artists. The margins are inscribed “Snow at Hongo Akamon” and “Showa 10 (1935) ”. This is a work by Shinami Kasamatsu, who sublimated Japanese scenes into art. Signed and stamped “Watanabe ワタナベ” on the front. The “Watanabe” seal is a signature issued by the long-established Watanabe Woodblock Print Art Studio. This work is also marked “Showa 10” and has a “Watanabe” circle seal, but it is difficult to determine if it was printed during the artist's lifetime or not. but since it is in good condition, it is possible that it was printed a little later.
