About the Item
A rectangular stepped piece with high relief carved, gilt and painted shaped panels. With flowers on the top panels with birds and a phoenix on red and green backgrounds. The lower square shaped panels with opposing vases with flowers and monster figures below (the right one with loss to the head) on green backgrounds. The green painted frame with a stretcher and artichoke terminals on the sides. Unpainted back.
Dimensions: L. 41 1/4", H. 20", Depth 1 3/4"
Condition: worn overall with losses to paint and gilt and slight wood losses which does not detract not detract from the fine and decorative presentation.
