Mid-19th century Chinese cast iron seated figure. Chinese seated figure in official robes & head-dress, an immortal in Taoism & mythology. Probably Cao Guojiu, known for high moral principles & devotion to duty. With the integral stand, he no doubt graced a shrine or niche. Soft patina. 20.5" h., 12" w., 9.5" d.
