About the Item
Old Thai Ironwood Millstone. A weathered solid thick piece of ironwood originally carved to create a deep track pattern on one side as the grinding surface, possibly used for the grinding of corn or shelling peanuts. The millstone has been recently polished to serve as a dynamic work of folk art.
Condition: Signs of wear and use with some losses and discolorations adding to the character of the piece.
Size: 5.25 inches high x 18.5 inches in diameter (134 x 470 mm in diameter).
Weight: 35 lbs. (15.87kg).
