Murano Amethyst Purple Blue Gold Flecks Bubbles Italian Art Glass Footed Bowl
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown amethyst purple, blue, controlled bubbles and gold flecks Italian art glass decorative footed bowl / ashtray. The piece is made in the "Bullicante" technique, with even bubbles throughout the inside of the bowl. It has 2 indents on the sides of the bowl, which can be decorative or functional if you are using the bowl as an ashtray. The color spots of the bowl cling around each of the bubbles. It is profusely covered in gold leaf on the inside. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or ring / jewelry dish on your dresser. Midcentury era. Measures: 7” long x 6" wide x 2 5/8" high.
