About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opaline purple, controlled bubbles and gold flecks Italian art glass bowl / vide poche. Documented to designer Alfredo Barbini. Profusely covered in gold leaf, with the gold clinging to each of the bubbles. Has a decorative folded rim. Would make a great display piece on any desk or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, ashtray or candy dish. Mid-century era. Measures: 7" long x 6 1/4" wide.
