About the Item

Antique, superb workmanship, bronzed metal Art Nouveau box, decorated " snowdrops and branches and leaves " on all sides, even the bottom. Over the years we have sold a number of rare and unique boxes, but the Art Nouveau boxes (because of their rarity) are among our favourites. Let us start of by saying that this antique box truly looks much better in real life than in any of our photos. We hear that a lot from our clients too, but we just wanted to mention this again. The finesse of the workmanship, the quality and the stunning designs have a universal appeal when it comes to their sheer beauty and elegance. This very rare and superbly designed antique box comes with some of the most beautiful flowing Art Nouveau patterns that you will have ever seen. And anyone who knows what it took (in terms of time and skills) to create this box will be just as enthousiastic as we were when we first saw it. This stunning Art Nouveau box exudes timeless beauty and craftsmanship, capturing the essence of the early 20th century. Made from high-quality metal, the intricate design showcases the flowing, organic curves and natural motifs that define the Art Nouveau style. This work-of-art-box even comes with the original bronze key (as shown in image 10) and working lock. For us to have found this item again felt like a blessing. We are certain this amazing artisanship antique too will soon grace the desk, vanity or side table of a true collector or Art Nouveau enthousiast somewhere on our beautiful planet. This also makes a great gift for a true friend or a loved one. Mind you, our price for this rare and striking box includes perfect packing and also worldwide shipping from our store to your door in just 3 to 6 days. Maximum width x depth x height when closed: 8.9 x 6.2 x 5.1 inches. Weight: 2.4 kilo or 5.3 pounds lbs. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again).
