Antique Swedish mora clock from the early 1800s in lovely later white finish and teal detailing on the neck and body and a clean face with extravagant roman numerals in good condition. Measures: 200 cm approx.
It has the classic extended belly of a traditional Swedish mora clock with detail on the body section and detailed pedestal carving.
The clock body has the usual wood movement and distressing found in clocks of this age.
It is sold 'as is' as a decorative piece only - we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)

- Condition:Repaired: probably some small repair during its life and later paint. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. The clock has some paint distressing and it is structurally sound with the usual wood movement for a piece of its age. It has some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel and may exhibit some paint lifting in places. It will be lightly restored.
