About the Item

A highly sculptural Mid-Century pen or pencil holder and temper by Sergio Dello Strologo for Xilarte, Milano, Italy. Crafted of finely figured, turned walnut. The 12 slender, cylindrical tubes of varying heights joined together to form a body reminiscent of a denuded forest or skyline. The original solid walnut rounded and tapered temper still present. The temper can be used as a fidget device by trying to balance it on its convex base. Branded mark to the bottom: Xilarte Design – Sergio. Dello Strologo, Milano Made in Italy.
