About the Item

Ritual Tray by Ilona Golovina Hand built from groggy stoneware, this sculptural tray by Ilona Golovina embodies the quiet power of ritual and the beauty of imperfection. Elevated by an organic pedestal base, the asymmetrical, half-moon surface features rich bronze undertones and expressive sculptural glaze accents—reminiscent of lunar craters. Originally conceived as an altar for incense and treasured objects, each piece is hand made and one of a kind. The expressive form and elemental finish invite a sense of ceremony into everyday life. Golovina’s signature approach draws from ancestral ceramic traditions and the philosophy of surrender, allowing fire, gravity, and other forces to shape the final outcome. Equally suited as a sculptural object, jewelry stand, or centerpiece, this tray evokes the duality of strength and softness, utility and reverence. Materials: Stoneware clay, layered glaze Firing method: Electric kiln Care: Decorative use only; not food safe or watertight
