About the Item

A large colorful polychrome hand-made ceramic Italian Moorish bust vase or planter of a woman with a flower turban crown. Handmade and glazed in brilliant reds, greens, and yellows, this sculpture depicts the head of a lady wearing a glazed red crown topped with bright red bulbs. She wears circular yellow earrings, red lipstick, and a red necklace. A large bouquet of orange and red figs flows from the top of her crown and is accented with lush green leaves. the piece is signed in black at the bottom on the back. How we would style it: Fill this vase or planter with basil, (a symbol of the divine and sacredness in Sicily) or with water and your favorite fresh flowers.
