"He Can Who Thinks He Can, " Rare Bronze Plaque/Paperweight

About the Item

Commissioned by the Woodson K. Woods Award Committee and awarded to N. Neprude in 1925, this very fine bronze bas relief plaque celebrates the words of Orison Swett Marden, who wrote "He Can Who Thinks He Can," celebrating the American work ethic, in 1908. The panel features a winged female figure in classical robes, holding a laurel branch overhead.
