About the Item

Ginori Gio Ponti Decorated Bowl La Conversazione Classica is a series of hand-panted bowls from Gio Ponti Art for Ginori 1735 with various classical themes. The first bowl with a name Putto con Cane (Putto with a dog) depicts a small boy playing with his dog. Circa 1923, made by Richard Ginori, Doccia, ceramic, glazed, grisaille painting on blue background, blue brush signature and model number. The deep blue background contrasts with the light silhouette of the child creating a marvellous effect on majolica. On the other side of the bowl we find a woman figurine staying near a huge jar. approx 27 cm diameter " diam x 12.3 cm hight Lit.: L.
