About the Item

Elegant Art Nouveau jardinière on four high legs, slender elongated shape with rounded ends, the delicate latticework on the wall as the only typical ornament, as Josef Hoffmann liked to incorporate into his designs during this creative period. High-quality handcrafted furniture with decorative bentwood elements that combine formal beauty and function. Beech bentwood and bent beech plywood, stained mahogany, hand-polished with shellac. Design: Josef HOFFMANN (1870-1956), around 1902. Remnants of the original manufactory sticker on the underside.
