About the Item

Rare Silver edition of the Vases of Phases, 10.5". Vases of Phases symbolizes the experience of changes in life for the artist Dror Benshertrit. Accordingly, his development of the "Vases of Phases" has progressed through several stages of creation on its way to completion. The basis is a sinuous-sensuous vase that enters into an experimental phase when it is shattered, as is the artist’s intention. It then becomes rougher, seductive, sharp, and enticing. These changes are visualized on the "shattered" object by smudged cracks and smoothed-out folds. The "Vase of Phase" is thus awarded a new type of beauty showing traces of the three phases it has passed through. The 'Vase of Phases" is available in black or white. In order to appreciate Dror Benshetrit’s work, one must see through the logic and the thought process behind his style. He dedicates himself mainly to innovations that arise from the use of new materials, techniques, and shapes, whereby he also works with the origins of movement at the same time.
