About the Item

Product Description: Isak Isakkson, the maker of this beautiful vase, is a master in the art of creating glazings that truly blow you away. The artist is still active, has his own instagram account and a webpage as well giving you insight in the different glazes he uses and sheds some light on the production process as well. The particular vase on offer here has a beautiful dark grey / black background with blue organic looking patches in it. The glazing of the item is shiny and reflects light (which unfortunately also shows the photographer is still very much in the process of learning to take good product pictures....sorry for that). To me the form of the item resembles that of an old air balloon, the thin short neck- and lip of the vase contribute to this imagine. The vase comes into its own in a showcase or elevated on a floating shelf. Product Condition: The vase is in very good condition, there are no inperfections to be seen. There are some pinhole-shaped dents here and there (also photographed) but these occured during manufacturing (as they always do). Weight: 804 grams
