Theo Genemans Large Vase
About the Item
Product Description:
The vase has been designed by Theo Genemans, a Dutch potter working from the village Heerde. Genemans was born in Singapore and lived in Indonesia after which he moved to the Netherlands. Genemans is not the most famous potter but he is definitely underrated, a quick search on the web reveals a vast array of vases by his hand, all with unique characteristics showing he mastered a wide palet of different styles.
The vase is really beautiful both due to its organic-looking patina, its robust form and its larger size. The vase is big enough to serve as the only art object in a minimalistic room but would do well in more richly decorated rooms also.
Product condition:
The vase is in very good condition, no shortcomings could be found.
