Product Description: Gunnar Nylund, one of Sweden's leading ceramic artists, lived and worked all over Scandinavia being involved with Bing & Gröndahl in Denmark, Rörstrand in Sweden and studying in Helsinki. His work is exhibited in many museums in Scandinavia and other European countries. The item on offer here is from the series called "ARL". In summary, this item looks amazing. The subtle form of the item combined with the beautiful yellow / green patina with white spots make this vase very pleasing to the eye. The vase comes into its own when displayed in an otherwise minimalistically furnished room. In absence of mentioned room the vase stands very well on a light wood table or in a glass showcase. When you want to put the vase to work I would advice to use a single flower, you could use a dried flower as shown on one of the pictures here (in this way the visitee does not interfere with the beauty of the host). Product Condition: The vase has no chips or cracks but does have some wear in the form of gray surface stains, there is also some small green paint drop present (visible on one of the pictures). None of the product's imperfections take away from the beauty of the item.
