Product Description:
Gunnar Nylund, one of Sweden's leading ceramic artists, lived and worked all over Scandinavia being involved with Bing & Gröndahl in Denmark, Rörstrand in Sweden and studying in Helsinki. His work is exhibited in many museums in Scandinavia and other European countries. The tea pot on offer here consists of a bottom- and top part fitting nicely into eachother. The patina of the item is amazing and makes me think of flames or lava-like earth. The robustness of the item invites you to use it, it will not break.
Product Condition:
The product is in very good condition given its age. There is almost no wear to be spotted, only when zooming in there are some metal-like scratches on the lower part of the pot. Some pinhole-shaped dents are visible as well, these are a natural result of the production process.
