Rörstrand - Amalia - Serving Plate
About the Item
Product Description:
This serving platter has been designed by the Swedish firm Rörstrand. Christina Campbell was responsible for the design (form as well as pattern) of this item. Christina Campbell is probably most famous for her AMANDA-series at Rörstrand (the AMALIA series on offer here is closely connected). The AMALIA series consists of plates, bowls and serving platters. The painting on the serving platter resembles a flower, with a dark blue swirling circle in the middle and a light blue patch around it. A field of flowers is drawn in the outer light blue patch. The platter could be used to hold fruits or to present salades in.
Product Condition:
Some light surface scratches (probably produced by knifes) can be found on the platter. Given the items age it is in very good condition.
