A magnificent Antique George III solid silver lidded tankard. This Tankard has a traditional Georgian baluster shaped body on a wide spread foot topped with a substantial domed hinged lid with an impressive thumb piece. This Tankard features all the classic stylistic elements in a much larger than traditional size. The Tankard also has a large engraved monogram opposite the impressive scroll handle. Made in London in 1770 by William & James Priest. Approx. Weight - 1352g / 43.4oz Measures: Approx. Height - 24.4cm Approx. Diameter - 14.3cm Signed/Inscribed: Full English Hallmarks on Body and on lid. This Tankard is in excellent condition with no damage. Stock Code - WIN01 TAN01 GEO01.
