K-OVER Champagne, Serpent and Roses, Silver 999/°, Italy
About the Item
Serpent and Roses, is a work that is part of K-OVER's Works of Art line The author is master goldsmith Lorenzo Foglia. The design is fictional; the artist was inspired by the tempting serpent from the tree of Adam and Eve. The three-dimensional reliefs of the snake and roses, the precision of the details, and the technical difficulties in chiseling and embossing a cylindrically shaped object from the inside out should be highlighted: The downside is on the inside of the outline, making it extremely difficult to get the volumes out as there is not enough room to use a normal hammer. The technique used is Renaissance and is called of the "hunt out." The cover comes complete with plexyglass display.
About the artist :
Lorenzo Foglia was born in Viareggio in 1971. His path into the world of metalworking began in the family workshop, under the instruction of his father and grandfather. Over time, he honed skills such as engraving and chiseling, which led him to create prestige pieces for the Royal Houses of Europe, film and theater.
Lorenzo is a two-time winner of the international "Art in a Jewel" competition sponsored by Florence Gift Mart. He has been president of the Goldsmiths of Florence is "Master Craftsman" recognized by the Region of Tuscany and "OMA Craftsman" and "Master of Arts and Crafts" for the Cologni Foundation in Milan.
In his recent collaboration with K-OVER, he contributed to the "Art Works" project, personally creating and signing some works.
Technical features:
K-OVER is a brand of P.M.P. Florence, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the world of silverware. Lavorare in questo settore per così tanto tempo ci ha permesso di sviluppare questo prodotto: una nuova glacette per bottiglie di champagne. La cover ha al suo interno un tessuto termico che consente di mantenere fresco il tuo prezioso champagne. The cover can be used an infinite number of times: unscrewing the cap located underneath allows the bottle to be changed. Tutte le cover champagne sono nuove o sono state esposte in occasione di eventi molto prestigiosi. K-OVERs are suitable for champenoise-shaped bottles such as: Moet Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper, Perrier Jouet, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, Berlucchi.
