K-OVER Champagne, ARIOSTO, silver 999/°°, Italy

About the Item

ARIOSTO : Our K-OVERs, are alternatives to the champagne bucket and the more common glacette. The precious metal that holds the bottle is coated internally with a thermal fabric that maintains the temperature of your champagne for about 2 hours. The works are entirely handmade by master goldsmiths. The working techniques used are chiseling, engraving, and embossing. This K-Over is part of the "Works of Art" collection. the design depicts St. George fighting the dragon, in the Middle Ages this is the struggle of good against evil in which the dragon is the embodiment of paganism. The artist works and carves a metal cylinder from the inside making using a Renaissance technique called "of the hunt out." Needless to say, this process is very difficult and requires a lot of time and especially uncommon skill. All this makes our champagne K-overs the ideal gift to give to those who already own everything; by offering your closest friends or relatives a K-over you will make a valuable and lasting gift. Master goldsmith: Lorenzo Foglia was born in Viareggio in 1971. From a young age, he worked in the family goldsmith workshop with his father and grandfather, studied the art of metalworking, and learned the techniques of embossing and chiseling. During his career he created furniture and jewelry for the Royal Houses of Europe, theater, and film. He has twice won the international competition "Art in a jewel," sponsored by Florence Gift Mart. He is President of the Goldsmiths of the City of Florence and is a Master Craftsman recognized by the Region of Tuscany, OMA Craftsman and Master of Art and Craft for the Cologni Foundation in Milan. Technical Data : K-OVER is the brand of P.M.P, Firenze srl, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry, strengthened by our expertise we have developed a new product: a modern champagne bucket that can be used an infinite number of times, the bottle is changed by unscrewing the cap placed on the bottom.
