Pair of Art Nouveau Silver Plated Decanters with Nude Female & Vine Decoration
About the Item
This pair of crystal decanters date from circa 1900 from the Art Nouveau period, and have their origins from Europe, and most likely Austria. The decanters are ornately decorated with figural grape vines done in silver plate with two figural nude females holding up the vine handle, and climbing within the vine on each bottle. The stoppers each are topped by a young boy holding a goblet high in the air with an outstretched arm. The decanters are unmarked, so the maker cannot be determined.
