About the Item

Aldo Tura Shaker/Thermos (ca. 1950s, Italy). Composed of a hollow wooden exterior wrapped in dyed red goatskin with gilt inlay finished in a clear acrylic. Features a stainless steel interior and brass-plated stainless steel top. Uncommon architectural example seemingly depicting a majestic scene with a castle and adjoining structures. The brass plate on the thermos's top has mostly peeled, revealing the stainless steel within. There is minor goatskin and gilt wear as shown, along with only light spotting to the stainless steel interior, which has been thoroughly cleaned. Overall, in very good, vintage condition with age-commensurate wear. H: 9.75" / 7.25" (without top) x Diameter: 3.75"
