Art Deco Porcelain Serving Bowl with Tropical Purple Parrot Motif - Germany
About the Item
A vintage Art Deco or Art Nouveau porcelain serving dish with a parrot motif. This ceramic serving dish will be a colorful addition to your next gathering. The bowl is round and in a crisp white. The edges of the bowl are scalloped and hand-painted with a thin black line all the way around. Just below the edges of the interior of the bowl are ridges or grooves. At the bottom on the inside of the dish are two parrots in bright and bold purple, green, and orange/yellow. They sit upon bright tropical leaves. Small renditions of the purple bird are around the sides on the inside. A decorative half-moon accent is airbrushed in a light gray. the bottom of the serving dish is marked with "Germany" in green.
