About the Item
A small pink and gold ceramic ashtray or vide poche with a bird motif. A lovely decorative trinket dish or ashtray that will be gorgeous on a side table or dressing table. The porcelain dish is round and is hand-painted with a metallic pink border on a crisp white background. A gold rim is hand-painted on the edges. At the center, colorful green and brown pheasant is painted sitting amongst the ground and leaves.
Marked at the back in red with "Japan" and a cloverleaf wreath seal for Yoko Boeki Japan.
