19th Century English George III Style Silvered over Copper and Cut-Glass Epergne
About the Item
Add grandeur and refinement to your table with this striking 19th century English epergne, crafted in the George III style. Resting on an elegant shaped base with beaded trim and paw feet, the silvered copper frame is richly embellished with classical ornamentation, including acanthus leaves and fluted supports. At the center rises a graceful flame finial, a symbol of enlightenment and refinement, anchoring the piece with sculptural flair. The epergne features a large central cut-glass bowl, finely detailed with scalloped edges, diamond-point patterns, and oval fan motifs. Four matching satellite bowls extend outward on delicately curved arms, echoing the same brilliant cutwork.
