Wonderful Rare Matched Pair of Early English Regency Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Pot Pourri or Pastile Burners of traditional form. First quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
Lavishly hand decorated in Imari palette with colours of Iron Red and Cobalt Blue with gilt on an off-white ground, each rim with four projecting Lion's heads ending on four paw feet on a shaped base.
Condition: Superb condition for such early items, light wear to gilding at high points and some staining inside, evidence of gilt overpainting on one cover, see image. Both bases with iron red mark for circa 1815.
Diameter: (entire) 5.5" (14cm). Height: 6" (15.25cm).

A fine and impressive set of four of vintage English sterling silver candlesticks made by Garrard & Co Ltd; an addition to our antique candle holder collection.
These fine and impressive vintage sterling silver candlesticks have a circular panelled form, in the antique George V style.
The plain panelled capital of each retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit sconce, ornamented with a moulded border to the rim.
The capitals are supported by a plain tapering panelled column, encircled with circular knops.
The lower portion of each column features a plain rounded knop to a spreadingbase.
Each of these impressive sterling silver candle holders have filled bases and bear green baize coverings to the undersides.
These impressive candlesticks were crafted by the renowned silversmiths Garrard & Co Ltd.

A magnificent, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver Monteith bowl; an addition to our range of collectable silverware.
This magnificent antique Edwardian sterling silver bowl has a large Monteith form onto a spreading foot.
The body of this antique Edwardian monteith bowl is ornamented with exceptional panels of flat engraved decoration, incorporating dynamic chinoiserie characters amongst foliate and towering structures; it can be determined that such a frieze of figures relates to a historical event or folklore.
Each panel is segmented with concave fluted pales to a matte textured plateau.
The decoration to the body incorporates a leaf bordered cartouche to one side, displaying a contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms, all above the motto 'Vix Ea Nostra Voco' - I scarce call these deeds of our ancestors ours*.
These heraldic markings are surmounted with the contemporary bright cut engraved crest of on a mount, a hind lodged in front of a hawthorn-tree, ducally gorged and chained*.
This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with two cast and applied handles, each fashioned in the form of lion's masks grasping a hallmarked drop-ring handle.

This magnificent antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a shaped pedestal to a plain rounded knop and circular spreading foot.
The body of this silver goblet is embellished with an applied cartouche pertaining to the London Athletic Club accented with a uncial-style typeface and incorporating the motto 'Vincit Qui Patitur' - Who Endures, Wins, in addition to.
Either side of the goblet features a cast and applied wing, each with ornamentation reproducing the details of the plumage.
The upper rim of the vessel is encompassed with an applied moulded border.

This silver presentation vase is a small replica of the classical Roman ‘Warwick Vase’. The body is cast and chased with fruiting vines below the rim. The central field has a continuous band with bearded Bacchic heads floating above a lion’s mask and pelt. The applied handles comprise gnarled twisted vine stems. The spreading stem is set on a square foot which in turn sits on an ebonised wooden plinth base. The plinth is applied with two vacant laurel wreath cartouches and two rectangular plaques, one finely engraved with the Royal Coat of Arms and the other inscribed “Plymouth, Devonport and Cornwall Races 1845, the gift of her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria, Augustus Coryton Esqr, W. R. Fortescue Esqr, Stewards” and “Her Majesty’s Vase, value 100gs., for three-year-old and upwards – Heats, about two miles, starting at the T.Y.C. Starting-post, once round, to the Grand Stand Winning-post.” Fully marked and stamped on the side of the foot ‘Hunt & Roskell Late Storr & Mortimer 2225’. English, assayed for London 1845.

John Barker (1803-1860) was created 1st Baronet ‘of Mottisfont in the County of Southampton’ on 16 March 1836. Crafted in parcel-gilt and electroplated silver, this stunning epergnes suite was made by the leading English firm Elkington & Co. in late Victorian London. The pieces are crafted in a magnificent Egyptian Revival style, most evident from the stunning sphinx mounts on the main pieces. The suite is comprised of a pair of large oval shaped epergnes that consist of leaf mounts, pierced and mounted with pairs of sphinxes that support cut-glass bowls.
The suite also comprises a set of four taller circular epergnes, that have similar sphinx mounts in trios, and which stand upon triangular bases, with beaded borders, chains, and paw feet, supporting a set of four bowls...

Stunning example of an English Minton Porcelain centerpiece or flower vase, depicting an entwined upright Dolphin been help by a scantily clad Female standing on a naturalistic circular base. Circa third quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
Exquisitely decorated in colors of turquoise on white glazed ground with lavish gold highlights.
Condition: Good condition for such an early piece with no losses except for a tiny loss dot at dolphins' lip, no discoloring anywhere.
