Highly decorative stand made from copper and all hand worked with applied enamel paints and script motifs to the sides of the feet! This piece depicts a nude Eve in the garden of Eden holding an apple while being confronted by the serpent! Beautiful Folk Art piece with arts & crafts influences!
The script mark on the base is just visible - 'To Mother Christmas 1932 from Reg (or Peg?).' This piece is believed to be made, circa 1910 and purchased at a later date.
