Italian centerpiece with solid silver plate in Renaissance style
About the Item
Centerpiece with plate made of 800 solid silver in Renaissance style.
The centerpiece was made love with different processing methods.
The predominant method is handcrafting, which makes it precious and unique.
Leaves and olives are being made by the fusion method and then applied to both the plate that serves as a support for the centerpiece and the centerpiece itself. Handles with floral subject, again made of casting, were welded onto the cup.
The interior finish is gilded with 24kt gold.
Underneath the plate, 3 spheres were welded to raise the whole object slightly from the supporting surface, to slender the whole thing and make it more balanced in proportion and elegant.
Italian Renaissance reproductions, are evidence of a refinement and sensitivity that has been passed down to modern masters of craftsmanship.
The objects reproduced by "ETRURIA ARTE" are copies of pieces belonging to private collections of the 15th and 16th centuries and faithfully reproduce the harmony of form and artistic workmanship of the original pieces.
