Mid-Century French Silvered Bronze Surtout de Table Centerpiece with Glass Bowl
About the Item
Decorate a console or dining table with this elegant antique centerpiece. Crafted in France circa 1950 and made of bronze with silver, the "Surtout de Table" (table centerpiece) stands on a tripod base ending with acanthus leaf feet over a pierced scalloped apron embellished with leaf motifs. The vine form stem is decorated with grapes and leaves in high relief; it is top with a circular glass cup bowl. The Louis XV style centerpiece is in excellent condition and adorns a rich silvered patinated finish. A wonderful accessory for a wine cellar or a bar!
