Antique 19th Century Minton Blue and White Basket Weave Garden Seat Stool

About the Item

19th century English Minton barrel-shaped garden seat with leaves in blue against a wicker basket aesthetic ground. Impressed with Minton and the English ceramics mark that was used during the Aesthetic Period. This mark was used until 1883. 44" in circumference; seat area is 11.5" across. Age wear as well as the piece had damage that was repaired by a professional porcelain restorer. The last 3 pictures show the repair. I would not recommend using it as an actual seat.
